Areas Guide of Amman Municipality for the blind and visually impaired is one of our special products we proudly developed to serve the blind and visually impaired with cooperation with the Municipality of Amman. This unique guidebook for the visually impaired and blind, titled “Guide to the Areas of Amman” embossed in braille method. The guidebook includes text that caters to individuals with low vision, as well as unique Braille maps of Jordan and the capital city, Amman. It contains information on the twenty areas of Amman, including their size, population, archaeological sites, famous landmarks, and street names. The guidebook has been formatted to serve both the blind and visually impaired, with consideration given to font size and color schemes suitable for individuals with low vision. The text is presented in Braille, alongside indexed maps with a unique key to cater to the needs of the blind. The project was launched under the patronage of His Highness Prince Firas Bin Raad and was attended by many organizations that cater to individuals with special needs, particularly the blind and visually impaired.
