Introducing Braille Place, our latest inter-point embosser that boasts impressive speeds of nearly 300 characters per second and a 45-character line, making it the perfect tool for serious Braille publishers. This high-performance embosser can be connected to any computer via its parallel or serial ports and features the same keypad controls as our other embossers. It even includes ET Speaks, which allows for audio control and other audio tasks.

Braille Place is a large machine, measuring 58 inches (147.3 cm) in height, and requires a 220-volt electric line. To ensure that Braille Place is always running at peak productivity, we ask that customers send a mechanically inclined and trusted staff member to our plant for brief training.
For printing, Braille Place can handle up to 27 lines per page with a maximum line width of 45 characters using Library of Congress spacing. It offers dynamic Braille scaling, including Library of Congress standard Braille, Jumbo Braille, California Sign Braille, Petite Braille, and Petite Braille with interlining. It also supports Moon Type for the United Kingdom and uses continuous tractor feed paper.
In terms of physical dimensions, Braille Place is 39 inches (99.06 cm) wide, 30 inches (72.6 cm) deep, and 58 inches (147.32 cm) high. It can operate in temperatures ranging from 35 F to 100 F (2 C to 37.8 C) with a humidity range of 10% to 95% non-condensing.
